Prof. Radhakant Padhi, Satish Dhawan Chair Professor at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, is a Fellow of multiple national and international academies and professional societies, including the Indian National Academy of Engineering, AIAA, and IEEE. An expert in optimal and nonlinear control synthesis with applications across aerospace, biomedical, and mechanical systems, his work is widely supported by leading agencies such as ISRO, DRDO, DBT, ICMR, and international research foundations. Author of nearly 300 peer-reviewed publications and several books, Prof. Padhi also serves on key ISRO and DRDO technical review committees, including the performance analysis committee for Chandrayaan-2 and Chandrayaan-3, and continues to contribute thought leadership to advanced control, orbital dynamics, and applied research initiatives
